KATHMANDU: Due to the influence of westerly winds the weather will remain partly cloudy to normal in most parts of the country while there will be light rain and snow in some places.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Province, and there is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the mountain areas of the country.
Furthermore, fog is likely in some areas of Terai, impacting daily life and traveling.
During the night today, there will be partial to normal change in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and the weather will be clear in the remaining areas.
There is possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the mountain areas of Province No. 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali.
According to the latest information of the department, the minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley today is 4.0 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 16.2 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, today the lowest minimum temperature is of Jiri at 0.9 degree Celsius and the highest of Biratnagar at 23.7 degree Celsius.
