NEPSE gains 54.58 points on Sunday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NESPE) index gained 54.58 points to close at 2,195.10 points on Sunday.

Similarly, the sensitive index rose 9.72 points to close at 419.20 points.

The index had gained 13.05 points last Friday.

A total of 11,339,476 unit shares of 220 companies were traded for Rs 4.6 billion today.

Likewise, all the sub-indices were green except for Finance.

Meanwhile, eight companies traded at positive circuit of 10 percent today.

Those gaining highest are Nepal Insurance Company Limited, Neco Insurance Company Limited, IME General Insurance, Prudential Insurance Company, NLG Insurance Company, United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited, among others.

The non-life insurance sector gained the highest of 4.51 percent in NEPSE today.
