Flight services resume after fuel tanker removed from Pokhara Airport



POKHARA: Flight services have resumed at Pokhara Airport after the fuel tanker that met with an accident at the airport was removed the accident site.

The flight services had been disrupted for around half an hour after a fuel overturned on the runway spilling the fuel this morning.

Spokesperson of Pokhara Airport Devraj Subedi said that the flight services have resumed after the fuel tanker was removed.

“We have removed the tanker with the help of a crane and the surface has been cleaned. Flight services have resumed,” Spokesperson Subedi said.

The refuel tanker was carrying fuel for planes from Oil Corporation depot when the accident took place.
