Cabinet meeting underway at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU:  A meeting of the Council of Ministers has started at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

A cabinet meeting has started at 8:30 am, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who is also the spokesperson of the government, said.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a cabinet meeting prior to the ruling coalition meeting which is slated for 11 am today.

With the election code of conduct set to be in place from April 8, the today’s meeting is expected to take important decisions.

Prime Minister Deuba is leaving for southern neighbor India tomorrow.
