MoHP directs subordinates to submit details of COVID vaccines



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has instructed subordinate bodies to send in the details of vaccines and vaccinations carried out against coronavirus.

Today’s meeting of a committee formed to investigate the records of COVID-19 vaccines has directed the Management Division of the Department of Health Services, health supply management centers of all the seven provinces, all 77 district health offices and 753 local levels to send in details of vaccine stock and vaccinated persons, said the Committee Coordinator Dr Gunaraj Lohani.

The committee directed to submit the details of all the vaccines by 4 pm on February 4. The ministry had formed a five-member probe committee on Sunday under the coordination of Dr Lohani, the ministry’s chief expert, after a significant number of vaccines were found undocumented.
