Allocation of seats not finalized as claimed: JSP Chair Yadav

KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav has claimed that the allocation of seats within the ruling coalition is yet to be decided.

He said his party would agree only if JSP gets a respectable position and seats.

“JSP is capable of contesting elections on its own in every constituency,” Yadav said, adding, “We don’t need crutches.”

He also dismissed reports that the allocation of seats has been finalized.

“We are in the process of finalizing it,” Yadav said.

Yadav further claimed that since a “flawed constitution” was imposed on the Madhesi people, the party’s slogan for the election will be to “rewrite, amend and transform” the Constitution for the benefit of the people.
