Govt to provide free treatment to acid attack survivors



KATHMANDU: The government has announced to provide free of cost treatment to acid attack survivors.

Assistant Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari shared that free treatment service would be provided to the acid attack survivors at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, Bir Hospital, Patan Hospital and Kirtipur Hospital.

The survivors however can obtain free treatment in emergency at any health facility in the country, Adhikari informed.

The government has approved a Procedure for Treatment of Acid Attack Survivors 2078 BS.
