Nepal sees six new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of six new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, five were detected through the RT-PCR method and one through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,411 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,553 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 858 through the Antigen method.

No person died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,952 to date.

Currently, there are 102 active cases in the country as 13 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
