UML makes public manifesto in Pokhara metropolis



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Pokhara Metropolitan Committee has made public its election manifesto.

Krishna Thapa and Manju Devi Gurung are being feilded as mayor and deputy mayor respectively from the UML in Pokhara Metropolitan City.

In the manifesto made public on Saturday, the UML has committed for study of monorail and metro rail operation to manage public transport within Pokhara metropolis.

It has been stated that the candidates would work to expedite the construction of Mid-hill Highway section that touches the metropolis, operate railway from Kerung to Lumbini via Kathmandu and Pokhara and take initiatives to promote international trade through Korola border point.
