ODI match between Nepal and Zimbabwe ‘A’ canceled



KATHMANDU: The match scheduled for today between Nepal and Zimbabwe ‘A’ has been canceled due to rainfall.

The first ODI match scheduled between Nepal and Zimbabwe ‘A’ at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur today has been canceled due to incessant rainfall, said Cricket Association Nepal (CAN).

Out of three ODI matches, the first ODI match was set to be held at 9:30 am.

The second match is scheduled to be held on Monday and the third match on Wednesday.

Cricket Association of Nepal on Friday announced a 16-member team under the leadership of Sandeep Lamichhane for the ODI match.

Twenty20 series will also be held in Kathmandu immediately after the ODI series. Zimbabwe team has already arrived in Nepal. It arrived on Thursday.
