KATHMANDU: Rain amidst thunderstorms is occurring in the Kathmandu Valley since early morning today.
Commuters are seen holding umbrellas and wearing raincoats in the federal capital.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions and generally fair in the rest of country today,
Light rain compounded with thunderstorms is expected in one or two hilly places of Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh due to low pressure weather system developed in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh to Bangladesh, westerly wind and local wind.
Similarly, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions of the country and generally fair in the rest of the country tonight.
Light is predicted amidst thunderstorms in one or two place of the Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh, said Division.
