Madhesh Province Assembly adjourned in two minutes



JANAKPURDHAM: The meeting of Madhesh Province Assembly has been adjourned after two minutes of commencement on Wednesday.

As soon as the meeting started, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) lawmaker Parmeshwar Sah urged the speaker not to proceed with the meeting as the Province Assembly did not have the mandatory number of lawmakers in the parliament.

Similarly, CPN-UML lawmaker Kishori Sah ‘Kamal’ accused that the ministers were busy with their personal work deserting the stately duties and province assembly.

He urged the speaker to pay attention to the provision of automatic dismissal of the parliamentarians who do not attend the meeting up to 10 times.

As soon as the two lawmakers spoke, Speaker Saroj Kumar Yadav announced that the meeting was adjourned till 11 am on Thursday.
