Two school girls killed in tipper collision



KATHMANDU: Two school girls were killed when a tipper knocked them down at Melamchichowk of Sundarijal in Gokarneshwor municipality in Kathmandu this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Shristi Ghising and Shreeya Ghising, daughters of Rohan Ghising.
According to Police Circle, Bouddha, the accident took place when a tipper (Ba 4 Cha 6965) collided with the motorcycle carrying rider Ghising and his two daughters.

The girls who were on the way to their school in the locality died on the spot in the accident occurred at around 8:30 am, police said. Rider Ghising, who is critically hurt in the accident, is being treated in the Nepal Medical College at Attarkhel.

Injured rider Ghising accused the tipper driver of putting the vehicle in back gear and running over his daughters.
