One killed, 13 injured as bus hits motorcycle in Sarlahi



SARLAHI: One person died and 13 others were injured when a passenger bus collided with a motorcycle at Banke in Ishwarpur Municipality-12 of Sarlahi along the Malangwa East-West Highway.

A night bus (Na 7 Kha 753) heading towards Kathmandu from Bariyarpatti of Siraha had hit a motorcycle (Na 29 Pa 4498) heading in the opposite direction last night.

According to Sarlahi Police Spokesperson Madhav Prasad Budhathoki, 12 out of 40 passengers were injured when the night bus overturned on the left side of the highway after hitting the motorcycle.

The deceased has been identified as Bhakta Bahadur Khadka, 27, of Gharibathan in Ishwarpur-12.
