Nepal Communist Party expels Chairman Rishi Kattel



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has expelled Chairman Rishi Ram Kattel from the party.

Kattel was the Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party for quite a long time.

Acting Chairman Lok Narayan Subedi issued a statement stating that Kattel was expelled from the party even from an ordinary member.

The party had sought an explanation from Kattel, alleging that he had acted to the detriment of the party.

The Central Committee had also formed an inquiry committee to make a decision.
