One dies of hornet bite in Parbat



KUSHMA: A 34-year-old youth succumbed to hornet sting at Kushma Municipality-1 in Parbat district on Friday.

According to the District Police Office Parbat, the deceased has been identified as Shreeram Pariyar.

Injured in the hornet bite, Pariyar died in course of treatment at Dhaulagiri Hospital, said DSP Indra Bahadur Rana.

The incident took place when Pariyar went to a nearby forest to burn down hornet hive and was rendered critically injured when the irate hornet stung him.
