NEPSE rises by 41 points Wednesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has risen by 41.39 points on Wednesday.

When the double digit increase reached the point of 1962.71, the transaction amount also improved compared to the previous day and reached Rs 1.43 billion.

A total of 4.386 million shares of 228 companies were traded 29,434 times in the secondary market on Wednesday. All the subgroups that have come into business today witnessed the rise.

Andhikhola Microfinance, CYC Microfinance and Barun Hydropower Company were among the top three earners in the secondary market on Wednesday.

Similarly, among the biggest losers were Malungkhola Hydropower, Nepal Investment Bank Debenture 2084 and Nabil Balance Fund.

Of the 228 companies traded on Wednesday, the share price of nine companies increased while the share price of three companies remained unchanged.
