KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 33.50 billion for water resources and irrigation sector for the fiscal year 2022/23.

Presenting the annual budget of revenue and expenditure for the coming fiscal year at a joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Sunday, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma said a total of Rs 33.50 billion has been allocated for water resources and irrigation.

The government has brought a budget of Rs. 1793.83 billion for the coming Fiscal Year 2022/23.
