KATHMANDU: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has said country was in need of national unity for ensuring prosperous Nepal.
Giving a message on the occasion of the Republic Day-2079 today, Vice President Pun said consolidation of nationality, national unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity is the need of the hour.
He further emphasized that unity among all political parties is imperative to strengthen federal democratic republic system.
He wished the Republic Day inspired all for concentrating to nation building.
The Vice President also paid tribute to those who got martyrdom in course of various struggles and movements to achieve the republic.
