 India returnee diagnosed with COVID-19



KATHMANDU: A man, who has recently returned from India via the Belhiya checkpoint of Rupandehi, has been found infected with coronavirus.

According to Lalmani Chaudhari, the health worker at the health desk of Belhiya, a 23-year-old man of Kathmandu was diagnosed with the virus during an antigen test carried out at the Belhiya desk.

This is the first case diagnosed during an antigen test carried out among the India returnees since March 19, said Chaudhari.

The infected has been advised to stay in home isolation since there are no quarantine camps and isolation centers, said Chaudhary.
