NEPSE to operate on Friday as well



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE)  has started preparations to open the share market on Friday as well.

According to NEPSE Spokesperson Murahari Parajuli, keeping in view the government’s decision to grant public holidays on Saturday and Sunday, NEPSE is making preparations to open the stock market on Friday as well.

The stock market is open from Sunday to Thursday, five days a week. The stock market is closed on Friday and Saturday.

Despite suggestions from some investors that the time period should be extended, NEPSE has no plans to extend the opening hours though. The stock market is open from 11 am to 3 pm, four hours a day.
