Agenda and delegation of PM Deuba’s April visit to India still undecided



KATHMANDU: The agenda of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s upcoming visit to India has yet to be decided.

At a press conference held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, the Ministry’s Spokesperson Sewa Lamsal said that said preparation for PM Deuba’s India visit was underway. “However, the agenda and the members of the delegation were yet to be finalized.”

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is leaving on a three-day visit to India on April 1. He is scheduled to hold talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on April 2. On the same day, PM Deuba is to pay a courtesy call on the Vice President of India.

According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Deuba will be accompanied by his wife Dr. Arju Rana Deuba.

This will be Deuba’s first bilateral foreign trip since becoming prime minister for the fifth time.
