Judicial Council (JC) had recommended Chief Judge of Biratnagar High Court Shrestha as the Justice of the Supreme Court.

A PHC meeting held on Tuesday unanimously approved Shrestha’s name, said PHC Chairman Laxman Lal Karna.

Justice Shrestha presented his work plan and details of his past works before the PHC today. He advocated for increasing the public faith and trust in the judiciary.

Earlier, the PHC had called for complaints, if any, against Shrestha.
