Four arrested with 81 kg of marijuana in Parsa

BIRGUNJ: Parsa police has arrested four persons smuggling 81 kg of cannabis in Bahudarmai Municipality-9, Bishrampur, Parsa.

According to District Police Office, Parsa, Ganesh Sah Kalwar, 60,  and his son Santosh Sah Kalwar 30 have been arrested along with the cannabis kept in their house.

Police recovered 74 kg marijuana hidden under the accused Kalwar’s bed.

Similarly, two other persons Suresh Das, 35 of Sankuwaparasauni-1, Dohori Tol, Parsa and Dasahi Das, 42 of Bhelahi Thana-1, Inida were arrested with seven kg marijuana while they were on the way to Jhowa from Amarpatti of Bindhyabasini-4 of the same district.

The police checked them after finding them walking suspiciously.

The police are investigating further for details.
