Remove illegal structures near Bagmati within seven days, instructs HPIDBC



KATHMANDU: The High Powered Committee for Integrated Development of Bagmati Civilization has given an ultimatum to remove illegal structures constructed on the banks of the Bagmati River in the Kathmandu Valley.

A committee under the Ministry of Urban Development issued a public notice to remove and evacuate unauthorized temporary and permanent structures in the area from Guheshwari to Thapathali on both sides of the river.

Stating that the previous public notice has been ignored, the Committee has asked to start the removal within three days and vacate within seven days.
