Nepal sees 14 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 14 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Of the confirmed cases, 12 were detected through the RT-PCR method and two through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 924 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

As many as 448 samples were tested through RT-PCR method and 476 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 605 active cases in the country as 29 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
