Fire destroys property in Taplejung

TAPLEJUNG: A house caught fire in Sidingwa Rural Municipality-7 of Taplejung, causing damage to the property of a local.

The house of Bhishmaraj Khudang, a resident of Burumkhim, was burnt down on Thursday evening, ward chair of Laxman Tamang said.

Tamang said that food, clothes, utensils and other materials inside the house were destroyed by the fire, and the damage was estimated to be more than Rs. 1.5 million.

Tamang said that cause of the fire was not ascertained.
