Adverse weather affects domestic flights

KATHMANDU: Domestic flights have been affected since this morning due to inclement weather conditions.

Airports in Biratnagar, Pokhara, Bhairahawa, Surkhet and Dhangadhi airports are closed due to heavy rains.

According to the airport office, IFR flights are being operated at Kathmandu Airport.

Currently, monsoon winds have been impacting the weather conditions in Nepal.

Likewise, the incessant rainfall has triggered disruption of flights from Nepalgunj and Surkhet to Humla, causing severe price hike of daily essentials at district headquarters, Simkot.
