KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari appointed Ambassador of Nepal to the United Kingdom Gyan Chandra Acharya as Non-Residential Ambassador to Ireland.

The appointment was made on Monday on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers and in accordance with Article 282 (1) of the Constitution, according to the Office of the President.
