KATHMANDU: A 29-year-old woman from Taiwan, Tseng Ko-Erh (Grace Tseng), among others climbed Mt Annapurna on Thursday.
According to Dolma Outdoor Expedition, she has set a record to become the youngest female to climb the peak without using supplemental oxygen.
Tseng has already climbed Mt Kanchenjunga last spring season to become the first Taiwanese woman to scale the world’s third-highest summit.
Tseng, who aims to climb all 14 summits above 8000 meters, has already climbed Mt Everest, Mt Manaslu, Mt Lhotse, and Mt Dhaulagiri, according to Dolma Outdoor Expedition.”
Likewise, a Norwegian national, Kristin Harila, along with Lakpa Nuru Sherpa, Pasdawa Sherpa, and Lakpa Thenduk Sherpa also scaled Mt Annapurna today.
Similarly, Baibanou Bouchara, Dawa Ongju Sherpa, Kasturi Deepak Savaker, and Halung Dorchi Sherpa also scaled the peak on Thursday.
