HURPES protests against Russian invasion in Ukraine



KATHMANDU: Human Rights and Peace Society (HURPES) has organized a protest in Kathmandu against the Russian invasion in Ukraine.

HURPES organized a protest program at Boudhhanath premises on Monday morning urging the Russian government to stop war against Ukraine .

During the protest the participants chanted various slogans and displayed placards saying “Stop the war and ensure peace in Ukraine”, “Save the lives of Ukrainian people”, “Russia’s attack on Ukraine is a crime against Humanity” etc.

HURPES officials including the founder President Krishna Pahadi, advisors Homkant Chaulagai and Uttam Pudasaini, Founder Member Krishna Kandel and many others took part in the protest.
