NC holding district convention to elect new leadership in Makwanpur



KATHMANDU: A voting is taking place to elect a new leadership in Nepali Congress Makwanpur district committee today.

The district convention under the 14th General Convention of the party which started on Sunday is going for elections today.

As many as 1,900 voters will be taking part in the elections including 102 ward presidents, regional presidents and representatives and booth representatives, said Gopi Sharma Subedi.

Even though the election was scheduled to begin from 8 am has been delayed due to Nepal bandh among other issues related to management.
