NEA making preparations to issue IPO



KATHMANDU: State-owned Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is making preparations to issue initial public offerings (IPO).

The NEA is a government company that generates, sells and transmits electricity.

NEA Managing Director Kulman Ghising said the discussions have been initiated towards issuing IPO.

The IPO will be issued once it is approved by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
