Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda seeks updates from party members in cabinet



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has sought details from the ministers representing the party in the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba-led cabinet.

According to Ramesh Malla, Prachanda’s personal secretary, the party chairman sought details from the ministers in a meeting called at Singha Durbar on Friday.

He is also the in-charge of the mechanism formed to evaluate the performance of ministers representing Maoist Center in the Debua cabinet.

Along with party chairman Prachanda, all ministers and state ministers and party leader Hari Bol Gajurel attended the meeting.

Maoist Center called the meeting of its ministers when the party cadres have started complaining about the relatively weak performance of the government.
