Province 1 records 693 new cases of coronavirus



MORANG: Province 1 recorded as many as 693 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, 176 people are infected in Morang, 87 in Sunsari, 66 in Jhapa, 15 in Udayapur, 6 in Ilam and Dhankuta, 2 in Bhojpur, 1 in Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha and Khotang, and 22 outside the Province.

A total of 135 people have been infected in the Biratnagar Metropolitan City of Morang district.

Similarly, eight cases have been confirmed in Patharishanishchhare and Sundaraharaicha, five in Budhiganga, four in Belbari and Urlabari, three in Kerabari, two in Ratuwamai and Katahari and one in Kanepokhari, Gramthan, Sunbarshi, Jahda and Dhanpalathan.

Likewise, the ministry has reported 37 positive cases in Dharan, 32 in Itahari, five in Inaruwa, three in Ramdhuni and Duhavi, two in Dewanganj and Nakhule, and one in Gadhi, Barakhshetra and Koshi.

Infection has been confirmed in 13 cases in Birtamod and Damak of Jhapa, 11 cases in Kankai, 8 cases in Bhadrapur, 5 cases in Arjundhara, 4 cases in Gauradaha and Shivasatakshi, 3 cases in Kamal village, 2 cases in Buddhashanti and Bahrudashi and 1 case in Mechinagar.

Likewise, 7 are infected in Udayapur’s Katari, 3 in Belka, 3 in Triyuga and local level Nakhuleka 2, 1 in Chaudandigadhi, 2 in Ilam municipality of Ilam, 1 in Mai, Mansebung, Suryodaya and Mai Jogmai, 1 in Dhankuta, 6 in Bhojpur municipality and local level in Bhojpur.
