Investigation initiated against Principal of Seti Technical Institute in Doti

DOTI: An investigation has been initiated against Principal Birendra Babu Yadav of Seti Technical Institute for seeking money from a poultry supplier that the Institute bought.

The issue came to public notice after an audio clip of the conversation was leaked.

Tirtha Raj Awasthi, a teacher in Doti Technical Institute, said the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has started a probe on Yadav’s involvement.

The Council has also removed Principal Yadav from the post.

The Institute had purchased 500 chicks to teach the students about poultry farming and Yadav is charged with seeking commission amount from the supplier over the phone.

Furthermore, Yadav is charged of his alleged involvement in financial embezzlement on purchase of office goods, student’s admission and other activities of the Institute.
