Earthquake in Lamjung



LAMJUNG: An earthquake measuring 2.5 on the Richter scale occurred in Lamjung district at 10:34 on Thursday night.

The tremor had the epicenter at Baglungpani area in Kwholasothar Rural Municipality, according to the National Seismological Centre.

Most of the folks had already slept due to nighttime and cold in the time of the quake.

Some locals also said they didn’t realise the quake. Some people had died after a quake occurred in the district on May 19, 2021. Since then, around 100 aftershocks have occurred, it is said.
