Nepal defeats Bangladesh 3-1 in a friendly



KATHMANDU: A rejuvenated Nepali national men’s football team defeated visiting national team of Bangladesh by 3 goals to 1.

Riding on a hat-trick by recalled striker Anjan Bista, host Nepal defeated Bangladesh in the international friendly football match played at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar today.

Bista score scored all the three goals in the first half while Bangladesh scored a consolation goal in the second half of the match.

Bista scored in the 18th, 27th and 38th minutes of the first half.

Meanwhile, Sajad Hussain of the visiting team scored in the 55th minute of the match.

Nepali Anjan Bista was declared the most valuable player for the match.
