KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 41 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.
Out of the confirmed cases, 36 were detected through the RT-PCR method and five through the Antigen method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,358 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 2,337 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1021 through the Antigen method.
Currently, there are 208 active cases in the country as 20 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No person died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,952 to date.
