Unified Socialist’s first Central Council meeting to begin today



KATHMANDU: The first Central Council meeting of the Unified Socialists is scheduled to begin today.

The Council meeting will be held at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi in Kathmandu.

According to Shambhu Shrestha, Deputy Chief of the Publicity Department, the meeting will discuss organizational activities, review the local elections on May 13, election-targeted programs for the upcoming House of Representatives and state assembly elections, and reports presented at the recent Central Committee meeting.

Party general secretary Beduram Bhusal will present his political report at the Council meeting for discussion.

About one thousand five hundred people will participate in the Council meeting.

The meeting will continue till Tuesday.
