Gas bullet fire put out in Chitwan



CHITWAN: The gas bullet which caught fire at Pandhra Kilo of Narayangadh-Muglin road section of Chitwan on Friday afternoon has been brought under control.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the fire was brought under control with the help of Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Bharatpur Metropolitan Fire Brigade.

The bullet (UP 17 AT 8627) heading towards Muglin from Narayangarh had caught fire at around 1 pm. Traffic was stopped on Narayangadh-Muglin Road while the fire was being brought under control.

“The bullet’s cabin and front tires are damaged by fire. The gas bullets were brought from the Orissa-based Pairavi Gas Company of India for the Shri Ram Gas Industry in Dhading and the gas is safe,” police said.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Chitwan, Narahari Adhikari said that the fire was brought under control.

Further investigation is underway into the incident.
