Four killed, 30 injured  in Sarlahi bus mishap



SARLAHI: Four people have been killed and 30 injured when a bus fell from a bridge over the Fuljor River in Sarlahi along the East-West Highway on Sunday morning.

According to DSP Madhav Kafle, spokesperson of Sarlahi police, the bodies of the deceased have not been identified yet.

He informed that the bodies of four persons who died in the accident have been sent to Malangwa for postmortem and the injured are undergoing treatment at Lalbandi and Raniganj-based health centers.

The passenger bus, Na 4 Kha 8555, heading towards Janakpur from Birgunj fell from the bridge on Sunday morning.

DSP Kafle said that the bus seems to have fallen uncontrollably while passing giving way to another vehicle.
