Home Minister’s commitment to investigate attack on MP



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said that an investigation will be launched into the incident of attack on Janata Samajwadi Party chief whip MP Pramod Shah. The incident took place in Ishwarapur Municipality-6 of Sarlahi.

After meeting Shah at Medicity Hospital on Saturday, Home Minister Khand promised to investigate the incident and take action against the culprits.

Home Minister Khand also wished speedy recovery to MP Shah. MP Shah, who had reached his home district Sarlahi for party-related work, sustained serious head injuries in the attack. Home Minister Khand has also instructed the local administration and security agencies to find out the truth of the incident.
