Deuba should resign as party President and PP leader: Ghimire



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Gururaj Ghimire has demanded the resignation of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba on moral grounds.

Ghimire said that Deuba should resign as party President and leader of the parliamentary party (PP) saying that he could not keep the ruling coalition intact.

Taking to social media, he said, “NC President and leader of the parliamentary party, Sher Bahadur Deuba, should immediately resign from both posts on moral grounds.”

He also said that they would call a special convention soon if he did not step down.
