Coronavirus cases declining in Nepal, one new coronavirus case in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of one new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

The confirmed one case was detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 526 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 161 were tested through RT-PCR method and 365 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 298 active cases in the country as 29 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
