Forest fire breaks out in Shivapuri National Park (With video)



KATHMANDU: A forest fire has broken out in Shivapuri National Park at Budhanilkantha in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The fire broke out in the forest on the south side of Jogal Danda Nani Gumba in ward 2 of Budhanilkantha Municipality.

The personnel of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police along with the locals are at work to control the fire that broke out since today afternoon.

A helicopter is also being used to control the fire.

The cause of the fire has yet to ascertained.
