Chinese Foreign Minister Yi hands over Pokhara Int’l Airport to Nepal



KATHMANDU: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has handed over China-built Pokhara Regional International Airport to Head-of-the-Government Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Chinese Minister Yi reached the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar Saturday evening to meet with PM Deuba.

In the meeting with PM Deuba, Minister Yi handed over the Pokhara Regional International Airport to the Government of Nepal. Earlier, the keys of the airport were handed over to Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka.

Earlier, he also held bilateral talks with Nepali counterpart Dr. Khadka and signed a nine-point agreement between the two countries.
