Nepal’s COVID-19 new cases shrink to single digit, eight new cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of eight new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday. It has shrunk to single digit number now.

Of the confirmed cases today, eight were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the country witnessed no coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country has reached 11,951 to date.

Currently, there are 1,758 active cases in the country as 210 infected patients recovered.
