KATHMANDU: The westerly low-pressure system is having an impact on the weather system of Nepal.
The weather is generally cloudy in Sudurpaschim and Gandaki Pradesh and partly cloudy in the rest of the provinces.
Currently, the light rain is occurring in one or two places of Sudurpaschim, according to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Similarly, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in Sudurpaschim, Karnali with chances of light rain in a few places of Lumbini Pradesh towards the afternoon.
Likewise, light rain is expected in a few places of high hilly and mountainous regions of the country, according to the Division.
Light rain is forecast in high highly and mountainous regions of the country tonight.
The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh with chances of light rain on Thursday.
The weather is expected to clear from Friday.
