Five-party alliance for safeguarding people’s sovereignty: Home Minister Khand



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said the Gautam Budhha International Airport in Rupandehi provides an opportunity to develop Bhairahawa as an economic hub.

As he said, the airport could also be developed as a cargo center, speeding up economic activities in the town.

While speaking at a program organized by the five-party ruling alliance today, the Minister, who is also the Nepali Congress candidate on behalf of the alliance from the Rupandehi-3, pledged to do his best for creating job opportunities for the district folks.

He also took time to say that the five-party alliance was formed to protect the people’s sovereignty.

“It aims to protect the Constitution and the federal democratic republic system in the nation,” he added.
